Are they cotton reels or spindle sliders? Well they are both really!! The Cotton Reel is mounted to a special, black-anodised aluminium bracket (included with the kit). The product will give protection to the swingarm area in most crashes. Also the bike can be lifted on the Cotton Reels, using a paddock stand with hooks (suggest R&G code SH0001). For rear wheel removal, you can take the Cotton Reels out of the aluminium blocks and insert them into the paddock stand bobbin screw holes. Suitable for the BMW S1000RR '10-, S1000R '14-, HP4 '09-, S1000XR '15- & S1000R Sport /  M Sport '21- & M1000R '23- models.
