Description
Galfer have developed a number of different compounds to suit all riding scenarios. All compounds feature powerful, progressive & modular feel, low wear rate and minimum noise, good fade resistance, good wet performance, and minimal wear on the brake disc.
This pad type is available in a number of compounds, as described below.
Galfer G1054 Semi Metal Street compound. This compound embodies the past, present and future of semi-metallic production at Galfer. It has been manufactured for years with minor improvements, and it s still used today in several Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) plants. The G1054 has an excellent coefficient of friction and low wear, offering progressive and effective braking. All these features make the compound suitable for all kinds of motorcycle.
The Galfer G1375 sintered compound massively exceeds Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) performance, and feature ceramic plates. It offers excellent results in: high temperatures, and still performs well while cool; dry and wet weather; longevity; brake feel. Suitable for road / track.
The Galfer G1375R sintered race compound massively exceeds Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) performance, and features ceramic plates. Suitable for sport and competitive use. GALFER launched the new Sport Racing G1375R brake pads made for sports bikes, and for road or circuit use. The new G1375R are made of sintered metal compound and stand out for their braking power, their high coefficient of friction and for being suitable for all conditions, especially with higher brake temperatures. As with its brother compound, the G1375, the new R brake pads will have a special ceramic coating that serves as a heat shield and reduces heat transmission to the braking system together with the slots on the friction material.
Designed for road bike customers, Galfer G1370 is Galfer s Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) product replacement. G1370 guarantees safe braking and is able to stand high temperatures without fade. Performance is not effected by adverse weather conditions. Combines safe and progressive braking with a competitive price. G1370 compound is designed for front brake use, G1371 for rear brakes.
